Based in the Little Apples Nursery at Cheltenham General Hospital the apprentice will care for babies and young children and help them with activities to nurture their development in a safe and supportive environment.

The apprenticeship is suitable for a person over 16 years of age and would be for someone with an interest in a career as a nursery nurse.

Activities the apprentice would be involved in with the staff team include

–          Meeting and greeting children, parents and carers

–          Arranging and providing activities in the early years foundation programme

–          Look after pre-school children with compassion, sensitivity in a safe, fun and stimulating environment

Our previous apprentices have secured employment and progressed from level 2 to level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce qualifications.
